Account Manager - Utilities in Hampshire

An opportunity has arisen for a Utilities Account Manager in Hampshire, between Southampton and Winchester.

 

Key accountabilities about the Position:

 

Primary client contact – ensuring timely information transfer between client and laboratory on

workflow, problem, progress, result checks and queries.

Responsibility for key customer invoicing, billing and forecasting.

The collection and compilation of key performance data, including such information for managing

SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

Lead customer review meetings and present SLA and financial data.

Managing deadline driven business requests for administration and data management

Regular liaison with Operations teams.

Regular liaison with Logistics’ teams to ensure contract performance obligations are achieved.

Trained in registration and coordinating progress of customer samples through IT systems.

Working with the client to identify areas of improvement and maintain excellent service.

Responsibility for undertaking approved result amendments.

Ad hoc duties as required to ensure that the business directives are met.

Be part of the Duty Manager Rota.

 

About you

 

To be successful in this role you will require the following Competencies:

In-depth Knowledge of at least one area of operations

Skills and Experience

 

Significant laboratory experience

Knowledge of LIMS system, QUASAR and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

HND or above in a technical subject

Report writing and presentation experience

A technical operations background is desirable

Previous management experience

Full driving licence preferred
