Grounds Maintenance Operative in Kent

You need to be already living in or commutable to Canterbury.  Start Early July 2022

You need to be able to drive and have your own car to get to site.

This is seasonal work, so will finish end of October 2022

You need to have lived continuously in the UK for the last 3 years.

This role is working for a Government Agency.

The work is field based in all weathers and at times will be required to lone work, the candidate will be required to work in or near water.

Duties vary quite a bit so they won’t be doing the same task day in day out.
Work is dependent on three things- Tides, weather and seasons.

You should show a positive, adaptable approach and a ‘can do’ attitude as a committed team player. You will be well organised keeping your tools and PPE in top condition. You will need good communication skills to work with customers and partners. You will need good time management and the ability to work alone in isolated locations.

You will demonstrate a good level of understanding or experience in all or some of these skills:

• Brushcutting / Strimming
• Scything / hand tools
• In Channel Works
• Ground Maintenance
