Service Delivery Coordinator in Staffordshire

Position: Service Delivery Coordinator


Location: Cannock area, Staffordshire

Hours: 40 hours per week (8am – 5pm)


Our client requires a Service Delivery Coordinator.  The successful candidate will work with the Field Service Engineers, as well as dealing with breakdowns and emergency calls. You will need excellent people skills, negotiating both with internal and external stakeholders.  The position is based within an extremely busy, fast-paced, and demanding environment and requires commercial focus and clear thinking.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Forward plan the work of the Field service engineering team
  • Managing live jobs, and dealing with emergency calls and breakdowns
  • Ensure effective management of communications between external customers and service engineers
  • Booking and planning of jobs
  • Liaising with the service chain
  • Produce reports as necessary for customers
  • Identifying opportunities to develop customer relationships
  • Other miscellaneous administration duties, as required by the team

Candidate Requirements:

  • Essential – good standard of education, especially in numeracy, written skills, and verbal reasoning
  • Preferable – Degree level or equivalent in an IT subject
  • High level of knowledge of IT packages, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • Desirable – Knowledge of Microsoft AX database
  • Desirable – some experience in scheduling, especially in a light engineering environment
  • Essential – More than 12 months experience in a relevant field
  • Excellent administration and planning skills
  • Excellent people-skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to communicate with all stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset; keen eye for detail; ability to achieve excellent results
  • Professional attitude, with good time-keeping skills and the ability to plan and manage own workload
