Supply Chain Risk Manager in Lancashire

Title:  Supply Chain Risk Manager
Location:  Warrington or Carlisle or Crewe - Hybrid with Commute between sites
Length:  12 months
Rate:  £300 - £400 per day via Umbrella
IR35 - Inside IR35

As a Supply Chain Risk Manager your main responsibilities would be:

• Experience of managing and coaching people
• Experience working in a Category Management environment or equivalent
• Working in a highly regulated and industrial sector
• Working under pressure, managing multiple projects to tight deadlines
• Holding suppliers and colleagues to account
• Drafting and developing bespoke Terms and Conditions
• Negotiating with Suppliers

You’ll have relevant experience in:

• Detailed & practical understanding of identifying and managing risk related to
Supply Chains
• Practical understanding of how to develop and implement a Supply Chain Risk
management process
• Detailed understanding of the governance framework a public procurement function
operates under e.g., Public Contracts Regulations, Government Commercial
Operating Standards, Public Procurement Notes etc
• Building relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their key drivers, and
managing their requirements

Desirable experience:

• Member of a recognised professional institute or body (e.g., MCIPS, IAACM, IRM)
• Degree in Business/Economics/Law or equivalent experience
• Usage of Atamis and Sage systems
