Controls and Instrumentation Technician

Location: TN29, Kent

Hours: 37 over 4 days                     12 month contract

Salary: £17.20 - £19.04 per hour PAYE, £23.13 £25.59 per hour Umbrella

Role: 

• Carry out core electrical and/or electronic maintenance duties
• Carry out Controls and instrumentation duties
• Carry out calibration, gauge and transmitter work
• Carry out operational tasks and assist with fault investigations
• Provide technical support for future project design and implementation

Skills required:

• Controls and instrumentation experience essential
• Relevant experience in electrical maintenance
• Appropriate technical qualifications (City & Guilds, BTEC, ONC, NQF Level3)
• Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety, Security, Environment and Quality on site.

Desirable:

• Appreciation of RSA and IRR requirements
• Plant Operations
• Experience of working in the Nuclear Industry
