Paul Talbot BSc – Director and Senior Consultant

Paul graduated from the University of Warwick in 1994 with a BSc (Hons) Microbiology and Microbial Technology. In 1997 he founded Jobs in Science, on the back of 20 years of experience in recruitment he helped launch JIS Recruitment in 2017 - a sister brand to offer professional recruitment services to the non-science sectors

Joanne Hern BA – Recruitment Consultant

Joanne joined the team in 2021 to work as a Consultant with JIS Recruitment and its sister Recruitment Agency Jobs in Science. Joanne has been instrumental in establishing JIS Recruitment and negotiating new business with clients across the Midlands. Joanne holds a BA Hons in Literature from University of the West of England, and is also a qualified English teacher, who has previously worked in several Secondary schools and as a Senior Regional Trainer for a private educational training company. Joanne has been able to seamlessly transfer her skillset and has become a valued member of the team expanding the JIS Recruitment brand.

Natasha Legge BA – Recruitment Consultant

Tash is our newest team member, joining us in 2022. Tash works as a Consultant with JIS Recruitment. Tash studied BA Honours Degree in Youth Justice in Nottingham before starting her career in recruitment. Tash is developing quickly into a confident recruiter & is already proven to be a key asset in our growing team. Tash recently completed her Certificate in Recruitment Practice, level 3 REC qualification.

Jemma Turner AAT Level 2 – Finance and Administration Manager

Jemma is a part qualified Accountant and is a core member of the team. Jemma's role is to manage the finance and administration functions. With a wealth of experience gained in the recruitment sector, Jemma has a keen eye for detail and a strong knowledge of candidate on-boarding requirements for both permanent and contract recruitment. Jemma has also obtained her Human Resource Management Diploma and acts as our dedicated point of contract for any HR related queries.
